Victorian man charged after allegedly borrowing large sums of money while bankrupt

A Victorian man has been charged with 3 offences under the Bankruptcy Act, after allegedly accessing more than $600,000 in credit from a business partner without disclosing his bankruptcy. Further to our earlier report, we can confirm the pillion passenger in the motorcycle crash at Longford died at the scene.

Tasmania Police say that at 4.45pm Emergency Services were tasked to attend the two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Wellington and High Streets, Longford. Death in Custody identified
