Young girl escapes injury
Tasmania Police and Ambulance Tasmania are at the scene, luckily the young child riding her bike has not been seriously injured, a witness said the girl was crossing the road when she collided with a car at low speed.

Helicopter activated
The Tasmania Police Westpac rescue helicopter has been activated to a very serious incident at Bruny Island. More to come. The helicopter was earlier activated to Wellington Park for a rescue of an injured rock climbing person but diverted. The person was rescued by ground crew.

City crash
Tasmania Police, Ambulance Tasmania and TFS attended a two car crash on the corner of Brooker Highway and Bathurst Street this afternoon. A subscriber witness said two people were taken to the RHH.

Murder suicide
Further to our exclusive live reports in the early hours of this morning as most people are home in bed, Tasmania Police this morning confirmed that two men are dead after the incident at William Str, Devonport. “Tasmania Police can confirm two men are deceased and a woman is in hospital, following a firearms incident in William Street, Devonport, overnight.

“Tasmania Police is responding to an incident in William Street, Devonport, involving a firearm. Police were called about 1am in response to reports of shots fired. Upon arrival police located one person deceased, and a further two people injured. The firearm has been recovered by police and there is no further concern for community safety” a Police spokesperson told us.

Man charged over Devonport firearms incident
A 36 year old Devonport man has been charged with a series of crimes including discharging a firearm in relation to an alleged incident in Devonport on 23 October. The man, who was taken into custody at Elizabeth Town yesterday, was charged with: • Assault (Criminal Code) x 4 • Robbery x 2 • Recklessly Discharge a Firearm x 3
