St Helens snake bite
The Tasmania Police Westpac rescue helicopter was activated to St Helens this afternoon on a medivac where we understand a child has suffered a snake bite. The helicopter is now heading to the LGH.

Home made firearm located
Tasmania Police in numbers attended an incident at Glenorchy this afternoon that resulted in Police locating a firearm. Police were called after reports of a person armed near Loftus Street allegedly making threats we are told. Police were searching land between Barossa Road and Loftus Street.
